Welcome to the Artistry Weddings Blog! If you're newly engaged or just stumped on a particular element for your wedding, I'll have suggestions for you. Until then, I'll tell you a little bit about myself and Artistry Weddings. Located in the DFW area, Artistry Weddings provides couples with Wedding Officiants, photography services, planning and creative and design services. We're about to launch our newest service DIY Wedding Coaching. I'm Maureen Steele, an Ordained Minister and a DIY Wedding Coach. My husband Tom Steele is an experienced, professional photographer and directs photography services for Artistry Weddings and AlaCarte Weddings as well as Tom Steele Photography.
Many of you are savvy about hunting down resources for your special day, but don't have a lot of experience in planning events. Any event where there are more than a handful of people can have potential pitfalls and a DIY Wedding Coach can help you avoid these in favor of a day that's easy and relaxed.
Please visit our poll question about attending a wedding seminar for those who want to plan an event on a budget and still have an amazing wedding. I'd love to know what answers you give, but also feel free to respond with any questions or suggestions for what you'd like to see or learn in such an event. Also, how much time would you take to visit seminars, bridal shows, etc. in planning your wedding.
Tip of the day: Take at least one day a week away from wedding planning and do something fun and relaxing. This is a great stress reliever and you'll be in the habit of making a special day for each other after the planning is over!
